Leading public service provider Amey today announced the appointment of Amanda Fisher as Managing Director of its FM, Defence and Justice Business, effective August 2017.
Joining Amey from Balfour Beatty’s executive team, where she was most recently MD for Living Places, Amanda brings with her significant senior operational and leadership experience across a number of services sectors. Having started her career as a Sandhurst trained Officer in the HM Armed Forces, Amanda has worked at executive level for ISS (security services) and Allied Healthcare Group (staffing and facility services), as well as specifically in FM with roles at Alfred McAlpine / Carillion and Balfour Beatty’s Workplace business.

Amanda is responsible for building on Amey’s considerable heritage and current presence in the FM market, and evolving the company’s footprint and service offerings in the defence and justice sectors.
Filling this Executive role follows recent senior appointments including Jayne Bowie (Exec Member – Group Legal Director) and Carol Hui (Non-Executive Director).
