Streets Ahead employees have been generously giving to BBC’s Children in Need appeal by coming to work in fancy dress and indulging in cake.
All employees were encouraged at the Sheffield depot to dress as a super hero or in their onesies on Friday 14th November to raise funds for the annual fundraising event.
A bake sale was also organised, with colleagues donating homemade buns and cakes, as well as a raffle, competitions and a teddy bear sale.
Over the duration of the day a grand total of £550 was raised, which will go towards making a real difference to the lives of children across the UK.
Streets Ahead Business Director, Rob Allen, said: “We’ve had a lot of fun raising money across the depot and everyone has got involved in some shape or form. It’s important to remember what we’re fundraising for and it’s great that we’re able to give to such a worthy cause. Well done and thank you to all involved.”
