Amey's Rail design team currently comprises over 80 engineers and CAD technicians, based in Bristol, York, Manchester, Birmingham, Derby, Cardiff, Crawley and Swindon. The team is further backed up by civil engineers from across the wider Amey consulting business, giving access to hundreds of highly skilled professionals covering all aspects of civil engineering.
Our Design Engineers utilise the latest Finite Element structural analysis software to produce efficient designs. Working with our CAD support team, we develop 3D BIM compliant models providing fully integrated design solutions.
Our engineers are familiar with the use of the RSSB carbon tool and have developed a number of low carbon solutions for a range of clients, driving a more sustainable future.
