We are trying hard to create better links with the military communities we provide maintenance services to.
As part of our wider social value efforts, we worked with military spouse, Elizabeth Newman-Earl, to fund and establish a social enterprise organisation that tries to create more opportunities for defence communities.
Established in 2021, e50K provides support and funding for community schemes that work to enhance the physical environment. These schemes, which are identified by the communities themselves, offer personnel and their families a range of resources such as education, employment opportunities and enterprise at the same time encouraging positive change for the wider area.
We will continue to play an active role in the growth of e50k by providing sponsorship and facilitating key community initiatives that work hard to make a tangible, positive impact on the communities in which it operates.
