Going once, going twice, sold! Amey is thrilled to have raised over £10,000 through a recent festive charity auction.

The online auction saw Amey’s very own auction master, Mike McCann, take centre stage to manage the bids that were coming in for prizes ranging from electrical goods to weekend getaways.

The prizes were all kindly donated through Amey’s Rail, Electrical and Power supply chain partners.

The live auction saw employees eagerly place up to three bids in a chance to walk away with that perfect gift for Christmas!

Account Director of Rail at Amey, Wayne Brigden, said: “We had an overwhelming response to the live charity auction with bids flying in from across the business looking to secure anything from festive hampers to sports tickets. I’d like to thank our supply chain partners who donated the gifts and to our employees who raised over £10,000 for good causes.”

The money raised from the festive auction, will be split equally between three chosen charities: Amey’s employee chosen charity Cancer Research UK, the Pontypridd Trussell Trust and Cerebral Palsy Wales.
