Three female employees at Amey Consulting have been announced as winners of the coveted Rising Star Awards 2020.
The award showcases remarkable women within the UK, from across 20 categories representing different industries and professions. The winners and their respective categories, are:
- Catherine Cobb (Consulting Highways) – Diversity Award
- Katie Burnell (Consulting Highways) – Science and Engineering Award
- Alexandra Knight (Strategic Consulting) – Rising Star Champion Award
The Rising Star Awards are given to those envisaged as future female leaders of their respective fields and aim to promote the amazing female talent that exists across the UK. The Champions award recognises the efforts and achievements of a senior individual of any gender who is championing gender equality either inside or outside their organisation.
Focusing on the UK’s female talent pipeline, and by highlighting the accolades of these women, the awards not only promote the amazing female talent that exists across the UK, but actively encourages organisations and business leaders to invest in and recognise these women as the leaders of tomorrow and individual contributors to their respective industries.
