Schools maintained by leading Secure Infrastructure FM specialist Amey are offering teachers and pupils the opportunity to take part in a virtual classroom ‘Chat and Learn ‘session.

Chat and learn is part of the Amey Inspire programme designed to help young people explore their career options.

Targeted at young persons, aged 14 or over, the classroom Chat and Learn sessions give each school the opportunity to request a group career talk with Amey employees to find out what their job involves and the career and educational path to that role.

Andy Voase, Director of FM, Amey Secure Infrastructure, said: At Amey, we want to give everyone the best opportunity to succeed. Our Chat and Learn sessions are just one part of what we are doing to help inspire the next generation into our industry. Each session is an excellent opportunity for young people to find out more about the work of Amey, the careers we have available and hear first-hand from the people who do them.”

Schools are being asked to book a group session for 14 to 18 year olds, as well as what area of the business they are interested in.  Amey then matches each school with the Amey employees specialising in those career areas for the online classroom session.
