Amey Consulting is one of 84 organisations worldwide that achieved the Sword of Honour, which is given to organisations that demonstrate excellence in the management of health and safety risks at work.
Assessments were made on various aspects of safety including the mental wellbeing of employees, as well as successful organisations achieving the mandatory maximum five stars in the British Safety Council’s audit scheme for the award.
Commenting on the award, Alex Gilbert, Managing Director of Amey Consulting, said:

The sword of honour is testament to Amey’s core value of ‘putting people first’. In 2016 Amey’s Consulting and Rail business unit achieved the Sword of Honour award and in 2018, Amey began its Target Zero campaign, with the aim of reaching a zero Lost Time Injury Incident Rate by 2021.
