Investors in People (IiP) has recognised Amey, a leading infrastructure services and engineering company, for its people first approach, wide diversity agenda, recognising and rewarding high performance, leading and inspiring people and its social value commitments.
Amey retains the two gold standards awarded in 2022; ‘We Invest in People’ and ‘We Invest in Wellbeing’, illustrating how Amey is a modern and progressive people focussed business, giving enhanced support in the areas of social value, inclusion, flexible working and wellbeing.
Amey remains on track in its journey to Platinum status, progressing with the continuous assessment approach it has helped IiP create. The collaboration between the two organisations has seen the development of a first of its kind assessment model, including a phased review to measure the impact of incremental changes as companies go through a transformation journey to a high performing culture.
As part of Amey’s assessment, IiP surveyed online employees, as well as meeting with groups of employees from affinity groups, ambassadors, and frontline teams, to ensure all voices of employees were represented in the review.
