Carol Hui rejoins Amey as Non-Executive Director

Amey announced today that Carol Hui has re-joined the company as a Non-Executive Director, Carol previously held the post of General Counsel at Amey, sitting on the board of directors between 2000 and 2009.

Carol Hui has over 25 years’ experience, and has been recognised with a series of high profile awards including the European General Counsel of the Year by the International Law Office. Her diverse range of skills and capabilities alongside her acute strategic mind set will be a significant and valuable addition to the board.

Sir Richard Mottram, Amey’s Chairman said; “I am delighted that Carol has agreed to join the Board in a Non-Executive capacity. She brings a wealth of experience and an outstanding track record as a General Counsel and more broadly, I know she will have a very positive impact on the work of the Board.”

At the beginning of the year she was appointed Chief of Staff at Heathrow Airport, where she has worked since 2009. Her current role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities* from legal affairs, business assurance and risk management, through to communications, public affairs and government and stakeholder relations.

Carol Hui has previously worked at TDG plc as Group Legal Director, BG plc as Deputy General Counsel and at City law firm, Slaughter and May as a solicitor. She is also a Non-Executive Director of Robert Walters plc and a Board Governor of London South Bank University.
