Amey has secured an unprecedented third consecutive term as Roads Service Northern Ireland’s (RSNI) transport and highways engineering consultancy partner.
The contract, worth up to £10m commences 26 April, for three years with the option of extensions.
Amey, which is the UK’s fastest growing engineering consultancy and one of the country’s leading public and regulated services providers, has worked with RSNI since 2005 providing a full-suite of highways design and consultancy support. Services include asset management, design, investigation, transportation planning, environmental management and construction management.
The partnership between Amey and RSNI has been recognised as an example of best practice within the Northern Ireland Civil Service.
Mel Ewell, Amey’s chief executive, said: “We are delighted to continue our very successful relationship with Roads Service Northern Ireland. Our engineering expertise has supported our client in achieving a number of award winning and best practice transport and highways solutions for Northern Ireland and we look forward to working together to build on this success.”
The contract requirements are serviced by a team of nearly 100 engineers based at Amey’s offices in Belfast. The team also provides support across Amey’s consultancy pipeline, delivering on projects from across the UK, Middle East and Australia.
