The five-year framework contract, which forms an integral part of Network Rail’s National Track Renewals, is expected to be worth approximately £40 million in its first year with an option of extending the contract by a further five years.
Under the terms of the contract, AmeySECO will operate as an integrated management team, providing technical and efficiency objectives in line with the demanding standards set by Network Rail. The delivery team will be structured along the lines of the existing team who have managed the delivery of the Plain Line Track Renewals on the Great Western region for the last five years.
