With the lifting of restrictions, we’re delighted that Sean Mansell, a member of our supply chain partner, Inside Out Developments, can resume his charity cycle ride from Seville to Malaga, raising vital funds for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.

Sean will begin the epic journey in Seville, before travelling through Puerto Real, Ronda and finishing up in Malaga. The event will begin on 1st April, and they’ll have just 3 days to complete over 220 miles.

The event was originally due to take place in September 2020, but due to COVID, the ride was postponed.

Sean said: “It’s very difficult training through the winter months but as we’re raising money for a fantastic cause you have to keep going. I know how much support SSAFA give to members of the Armed Forces and their families. They help the military community deal with bereavement, injury, and disability and provide social care and housing as well as physical and emotional support for older veterans and much more.”

Despite the event being postponed, Sean has kept up with fundraising, which currently stands at £3,240.

If you’d like to support Sean and the other riders and help SSAFA to continue their vital work, you can visit Sean’s secure fundraising page here:
