Head Teacher delighted with Amey’s Defence team at RAF Fairford & Croughton

Amey’s Defence team at RAF Fairford & Croughton, in our USVF contract, recently used their community day to help Fairford Church of England Primary School repair an access ramp that had become too dangerous for the children to use.

Our team of eight worked together to repair the ramp, which was rotten and very slippery underfoot. The team also found time to level some uneven paving slabs near the school gate.

Julie Fellow, Head Teacher, was delighted with their efforts and said, “Thank you to Amey and the work they do in the community, ‘giving back.’ Their work to level the paving slabs on the school site would have been too costly for us to do. They also repaired the wooden ramp to the outdoor classroom which means we can again use this space in Term 2.”

Well done team!
