Amey, who provide highways maintenance services on behalf of Hampshire County Council , are supporting Jubilee 77 U7 youth football club by providing new jackets and equipment for the team.

Amey’s support of the team , which is based in Fareham , was suggested by employee John Smith whose daughter plays for the team. David Fawcett from Amey joined John for a training session and took the opportunity to hand over the new jackets as well as discussing the work Amey does across the UK.

Matt Garner , the Team Manager at Jubilee 77 U7, said: “Amey’s support is a real boost to the team. We are very grateful that John and David were able to join us and celebrate our partnership. Clubs such as Jubilee 77 depend on the support of local business and Amey’s generosity has made a real difference to the team.”

Paul Anderson, Account Director for Amey, commented: “We are delighted to support Jubilee 77 U7 team . We have supported a number of youth teams over the last few years and are delighted that Jubilee 77 joins this group. Working with young people is very important to us and has been an ongoing and integral part of our community initiatives .”

Over the past year, Amey has entered into several partnerships across Hampshire and surrounding counties that have benefitted young people, through work experience placements, recruitment of apprentices, and school and college events. Amey’s work with young people in Hampshire reflects Amey’s corporate values. Every Amey employee is also entitled to an annual paid Community Involvement Day to dedicate to local voluntary work.
