Helen Townend, Technical Director, Amey Consulting shares her experience of the SuperWellness 6 Week Metabolic Boost Programme

“This summer, I signed up to the Wellbeing team’s 6 Week Metabolic Boost Programme because it sounded interesting, I knew nothing about my metabolic rate, and I wanted to lose some weight. This was a series of online calls run by Julie and Lucille from the SuperWellness team, providing tips and ideas to improve your health and identify achievable goals.

We all know we should drink more water, eat more vegetables, eat less sugar, but doing these things can be a bit dull. This course gives you the ‘why’ you should do these things, explaining the benefits, making the commitment to healthy choices easier. I found the 7-day challenge particularly good as it helped me identify the things I struggled with and concentrate my efforts in the right places to make the small changes that make a difference.
