What is the purpose of this role?
Are you looking for an HR MI Data Analyst role? Here at Amey we are looking for a technically minded individual who has worked previously with SQL, Power BI , VBA and has an understanding of how powerful accurate and user friendly data can be for a business.
To be successful you must have experience in SQL, VBA, Power BI, Excel.
You will report into the HR MI Manager and sit within the wider HR Systems and HR Mobilisations team.
What will this role involve?
Amey as a business requires clear, accurate and meaningful data to be able to help with decision making and monitoring progress and changes within the business.
As a HR MI Data Analyst you will be required to update and maintain both weekly and monthly reports that are used company wide. Also, dealing with ad hoc queries and requests that come through the team mailbox. Taking on some contract or business unit reporting improvement projects. while maintaining high levels of customer service along the way.
- Updating, improving and maintaining monthly and weekly reports
- Daily use of SQL and Power BI
- Answering ad hoc queries and questions
- Running data from varies data sources
- Checking all data is updated and presented correctly
- Trouble shooting any data or dashboard issues
- Managing your own small projects
What are we looking for?
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- SQL, VBA and Power BI Skills
- Experience creating and running data extracts and reports
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
