We are looking to appoint an experienced Procurement Manager within our Utilities Procurement Team to lead the procurement / strategic sourcing process across a range of contracts and categories and develop collaborative relationships with our key subcontractors, suppliers and leadership teams. You will act as the Procurement Business Partner for designated Accounts, support Bids and Mobilisations as well as manage the delivery of procurement initiatives and the on-going procurement process.
This position will give you access to senior stakeholders across the business where you will be a true business partner with the ability to add value from the start.
We are looking for someone with extensive experience of subcontractor procurement, category management and supplier relationship management ideally from the Utilities or Civil Engineering sectors, with a track record in conducting firm, fair & ethical negotiations. You will be organised, have the ability to manage a range of stakeholders, take ownership of resolving any challenges and ensure effective outcomes that meet the needs of the business are delivered. The successful candidate will have the vision and business engagement skills to lead the development and implementation of value adding procurement strategies that enable the realisation of the business’ strategic goals.
