Community rehabilitation

Through local community partnerships, we work with ex-offenders, homeless and disadvantaged young people to provide them with the skills and support they need to find employment. We support prisoner rehabilitation by offering work experience opportunities to prisoners nearing the end of their sentences. This involves prisoners working with us for up to 12 weeks to gain skills and experience that they can use on their release.

Helping young people

We also work with the Construction Youth Trust on its national project with the Youth Justice Board that is helping to reduce reoffending rates in young people leaving custody.

Our exclusive strategic partnership with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme will see 750,000 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds take part over the next ten years – helping them to keep out of trouble and improving their employability.
