Learning and Development

There are loads of learning and development opportunities at Amey to help empower you to drive your own learning and career development in a way that suits you, with the support of your people manager.

You’ll find a range of materials on the learning and development pages on AmeyWorld; our Let’s Talk series provides you with what you need, in the most simple and effective way.  It includes ‘How to guides’, videos and practical tips to help all employees and people managers feel even more confident with the fundamental areas.  We also offer face-to-face development, from the Leaders Creating Better Places programme for Account Leaders and Senior Managers to our Team Leaders and Front Line Managers programme.  Our Management Development and Talent Consultants work closely with the business to design bespoke development interventions to meet the business needs.

We’ll work with you to ensure you know what’s expected of you

To help you succeed in your role, you’ll have regular, ongoing conversations with your manager.  This will ensure you understand your role, how it contributes to Amey’s success, and how you’re performing throughout the year.  You’ll also discuss your development and career plan.
