Our TRISS team
The Trunk Road Incident Support Service (TRISS) on Scotland’s busiest major roads and motorways, was pioneered by Amey, first launching in 2005.
TRISS can be thought of as a form of critical support to road users and the other emergency services, by responding to road traffic incidents, providing on site and up to the minute information on traffic, coming to the assistance of stranded motorists and helping to reduce the disruption caused by incidents on the network by providing a range of assistance, from traffic management to temporary road repairs. Our TRISS team are highly skilled and dedicated road operatives who frequently draw the praise of road users and our other stakeholders.
