Stephen is a strategic thinker experienced in leveraging technical and commercial capabilities via software and analytics to solve business problems. His experience as a trouble-shooter and problem solver enable him to align technical capabilities to business objectives, engaging stakeholders at up to C-level to deliver complex projects in challenging timescales.
Stephen is a technical authority in autonomous inspection and analytics, scheduling, and machine learning. Stephen has significant field experience in telecoms project and product management.
Stephen currently leads Amey’s development of analytics and software underpinning autonomous inspection. He was the originator of Amey’s Mercury remote monitoring and analytics solution.
In his 4 years at Amey, Stephen has worked on a diverse range of projects, including Asset Management Strategy and Cost Model development for Dockland Light Railway, scheduling optimization for Curo (a West Country housing association), and remote monitoring analytics on lifts and escalators on the London Underground.
In his spare time, Stephen is a keen mountaineer, skier and ultra-runner. He regularly climbs in the UK and the Alps, and has completed a number of major ultra races, including the UTMB, Tor des Geants, and the Rovaniemi arctic ski-race.
