Michael is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, starting his education as a City and Guilds Apprentice through an MBA from Brunel University to executive coaching at Ashridge Management College.
He has worked in a number of senior positions in both the public and private sectors. A Director of MRS Environmental Services ltd for 8 years before acquisition by Enterprise plc in 2004 where he spent almost 10 years as HR Director then moving to Amey in April 2013. Along the way gaining much experience in large scale sales and acquisitions together with subsequent integrations.
Michael’s current focus is for ensuring people practices throughout the group are aligned to the business strategy of “freedom to perform” allowing all employees to be their best whilst encouraging empowerment, engagement and excellence.
