Ferrovial's Head of M&A

Javier is a graduate in Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and holds an MBA from Instituto de Empresa, as well as a High Management Program from IESE. He joined Ferrovial in 1987 holding several positions in Construction and Ferrovial Group.

In 1999, after Ferrovial Agroman merger, he became the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and in 2007, he was appointed CFO and Corporate Development Director. Javier led the acquisition of Budimex (Poland) and Webber (Texas, USA) and he has been a member of the Supervisory Board, Investment and Audit Committee of Budimex for 21 years.

In 2018, Javier was appointed CEO of Ferrovial Real Estate Division and in 2020 he became Ferrovial Group Head of M&A, leading the divestment of Ferrovial’s Real Estate Division in Poland and the Services Division in Spain.
