Amanda Fisher
Amanda Fisher was appointed Chief Executive of Amey in December 2019, despite the challenges of Covid, she has successfully executed a turnaround plan creating a modern organisation with a progressive people culture. Prior to this she was Managing Director of Facilities Management, Defence and Justice, having joined Amey in August 2017.
Since leaving the armed forces where she served as a Commissioned Officer, Amanda has a successful track record in delivering business transformations and creating value in large, complex organisations in very competitive environments. Amanda has a wealth of cross-sector experience, having held several Board director-level roles in ISS, Allied Healthcare Group, Alfred McAlpine and at Balfour Beatty where she was the first woman to be appointed Managing Director of one of the strategic businesses; Living Places.
Amanda has always driven culture change as well as championing diversity and potential.
Amanda is a member of the Board of Governors at the University of Plymouth. She is a graduate of the University of Surrey and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
