Highways Magazine Excellence Awards 2016
Amey won two awards at the Highways Magazine Excellence Awards 2016.
Firstly the Road Marking Project of the Year in partnership with Transport Scotland, BEAR Scotland, Edinburgh Napier University and Clearview Intelligence Ltd. As collaborative winners, Amey was recognised for demonstrating excellence for our input into the A720 Sheriffhall Roundabout project – a scheme to improve driver safety on a high traffic six-arm roundabout on the Edinburgh City Bypass.
The Amey team were also recognised in conjunction with Transport Scotland and other partners for the Highway Partnership Award. This award highlighted the collective approach the team took to reopening the Forth Road Bridge during what Scottish Parliament described as ‘an event of national significance’.
