Amey appoints new Group HR and Communications Director

Amey, one of the UK’s leading public and regulated services providers has appointed Ian Deninson as Group HR and Communications Director.

As part of the Executive team, Ian will lead and deliver the group’s HR strategy and play an instrumental role in driving the company’s ambitious growth targets, maintaining high levels of employee engagement and developing the company’s talent management strategy. 

Ian has held senior UK and international HR director positions in a number of well-known companies including Carlsberg Group, Chesapeake Corporation and Dulux (ICI Paints) and brings with him a wealth of experience including: organisational design, communications, culture change, leadership development and talent management experience.

Prior to Amey, he was a partner at April Strategy LLP which works with organisations, across the public and private sector, to define and embed their values, create customer focused business strategies, and ensure employees are engaged with the organisation’s direction and purpose.
