Amey announces new Managing Director of Built Environment – Gillian Duggan

Amey has today announced Gillian Duggan - current Group Human Resources Director - as Managing Director for Built Environment. Gillian replaces Guy Wakeley effective immediately.

Reporting directly into Chris Webster, COO, Duggan will have responsibility for managing the Built Environment senior management team and for delivery on key accounts including MoD, Home Office and QinetiQ.

Since starting with Amey in 2004, Gillian has been instrumental in our strategic development and implementing key initiatives. I am confident that she will bring the same dynamism and success that she has demonstrated in her current role, to an operations based role in Built Environment. This is an extremely exciting time for Amey and the Built Environment sector and I am confident that Gillian is the ideal person to guide us through the next stage of transformation.“

Since joining Amey as Group HR Director in 2004, she has been instrumental in re-engineering the HR function. Her combined experience from the public and private sector has enabled her to develop an HR strategy that meets business needs and is closely aligned with the customer and their expectations. Gillian will apply the same customer focus and strategic thinking working with Amey’s Built Environment clients.

I am looking forward to working with our clients to transform the way their workspaces are managed – to minimise their environmental impact and improve the wellbeing of people who use them.
