Amey, a leading support services company, has received a prestigious award for its latest recruitment advertising at this year’s Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) Recruitment Marketing Awards. The awards, run in collaboration with The Guardian newspaper, promote innovation in recruitment marketing solutions in today’s talent marketplace.

The organisation was announced overall winner in the “professional” recruitment advertising category, for its innovative recruitment marketing produced in association with agency Thirty Three.

The advertisement gained particular plaudits from the judges for its originality and imaginative approach to depicting the high calibre of human resources professional sought by Amey. The advertisement’s focus was on the organisation’s commitment to developing and retaining their employees.

Matthew Joint, Head of Resourcing, said: “Employers must market themselves in increasingly clever ways to reach talented potential employees. Our award recognises the real skill involved in crafting powerful communications - on the part of our Amey team and the partners we choose to work with. We are delighted not only to win the award, but also by the positive response we have received from potential employees towards the recruitment advertisement.”

Helen Rosethorn, chair of the judges for this year's competition, said: "Talent attraction and retention are firmly at the top of boardroom agendas - bringing into sharp focus an organisation's employer reputation, the way it lives its promise to employees and the way it reinforces that through its behaviours."

The award recognises the organisation’s innovative approach to attracting the best talent in the marketplace and commitment to being an employer of choice.
