Description
Amey works in partnership with Halton Borough Council to deliver routine reactive and proactive highway work, programmed highway maintenance and improvement, and integrated transport schemes, across the network which consists of 515km of highway.
Amey delivers a wide range of services associated with highway maintenance, including gully cleaning, carriageway patching and traffic management within Cheshire/Merseyside. We also deliver vehicle safety fencing to all types of highways, resurface works and carry out grit/water blasting to walls and flags within school grounds.
Since 2005 Amey have been carrying out routine, reactive and proactive works, programmed highway maintenance and highway improvement, including integrated transport schemes. Works include winter maintenance, out of hours call outs, and emergency works.
Efficiency & Innovation
Amey and Halton Borough Council have worked closely during the course of the contract to introduce new working practices that have contributed to the record of 1 year without a RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations) accident.
