This Account covers the Headquarters of the Secretary of State for Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff and Chiefs of the three Services plus all their operational and support staffs.
The contract provides the MoD Head Office with 1 million square feet of serviced accommodation for around 4000 building users.

- Additionally Amey provides a specialist Design and mapping support service to the MoD.
Innovation
Our customer focused team go beyond the typical confines of services within the PFI contract. Our unique partnering approach has enabled us to develop bespoke solutions to meet our customer’s needs. For example, we introduced an online records management system that allows the MoD to store and retrieve files securely.
The unique system ensures that all files are sealed, bar-coded and logged; On demand these are retrieved from out of 4.5km storage and delivered directly to the customer. This solution improves office space effectiveness by having infrequently used files located remotely from the floorplate.
We have also developed an integrated on line access facility for our helpdesk and visitor management functions. This allows the customer to interface with the majority of services that Amey provides direct from their desktop. We have also developed a workflow system that automatically updates customers at the change in status of any task they have logged with Amey.
