Bedfordshire Highways
As Bedfordshire Highways, Amey is working with Central Bedfordshire Council and Bedford Borough Council to modernise the county’s highways infrastructure. This pioneering contract is one of the first local authority Managing Agents Contracts (MACs) in the UK.
Herefordshire Highways MAC
In 2003, Herefordshire Council procured new service delivery contracts through a joint venture with Jarvis plc for highways contract services, and with Owen Williams for highways design consultancy services.
Hunderton Infants and Junior Schools
Amey was engaged by Herefordshire Council to undertake the design of a new infant and junior school to provide accommodation for 630 pupils in Hereford. The project involved replacing an ageing and oversized school development on the same site.
Northern Ireland Roads Service
Amey’s services include highways and transport design, together with CDM construction and supervisory services for Northern Ireland’s roads, bridges and footways.
West Sussex County Council
In 2003 Owen Williams procured the Design and Construction Supervision Services contract (DACS) with West Sussex County Council (WSCC) to provide highway design consultancy and contract supervision services.
