Amey’s Built Environment team provides a comprehensive range of facilities management services. We deliver services to a large proportion of the Government's estate, as well as to departments, agencies, non-departmental bodies, and the private sector. Our expertise lies in bundled services; for example, our MoD account at their HQ in Whitehall comprises over 60 separate services alone.

Amey Facilities Management
The Built Environment Group Property Team provide facilities management for Amey’s own corporate premises, principally the Head Office and transactional centre buildings on the Oxford Science Park, (Sherard Building and Winchester House).
Avon & Somerset Courts PFI
Amey deliver a facilities management service to HMCS and the Avon and Somerset Probation Area at the North Somerset Courthouse, Bristol Magistrates’ Court & Probation Service Field Office and the Area Headquarters Building.
Edinburgh Schools
The Edinburgh Schools PPP contract provides FM services to 19 educational establishments. The City of Edinburgh Council meets the educational needs of 15,000 pupils within this project and aims to improve the environment in which all these pupils are taught.
Glasgow Schools
The Glasgow Schools PPP project began in August 2000 and is the largest educational PFI project in Europe. The Glasgow Schools contract was the first educational PPP won by Amey and is a best practice blueprint for all Scottish educational PPP projects.
Heathrow Express (HEx)
Heathrow Express is the fastest, most frequent way to travel between Heathrow Airport and Central London – the service is operated by BAA and carries an average of 15,000 passengers every day.
MoD Whitehall
Provide Serviced Accommodation to the Ministry of Defence in Central London . 1 Million square feet of accommodation and circa 4000 customers.
National Physical Laboratory
In December 2006, Amey entered into a contract to provide a total facility management service for seven years at The National Physical Laboratory in Teddington, London.
Northampton Schools
Northampton Schools PFI project is a 32 year contract operated by a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) led by Babcock and Brown involving construction work by Galliford Try of 11 new and 30 refurbished schools and provision of FM and lifecycle services by Amey.
Renfrewshire Schools
Amey works in partnership with Renfrewshire Council as part of their overall educational commitment to provide secondary, primary and nursery education to over 7,000 children in ten brand new schools.
Speke Schools
Liverpool City Council, is delivering to the Speke community a multi-educational site consisting of pre-school, secondary, adult and community education, in conjunction with social services, housing projects, and sports and leisure facilities, improving physical health.
