All employees will be asked for evidence of their right to live and work in the UK, either through provision of a UK/EU passport or work permit. We are not able to offer support in obtaining work permits except in very rare cases of critical skills shortages.

We like our employees to get an idea about their local department, manager and location first before finding out about the company as a whole. Typically, a new starter will be invited on our one day Amey Corporate Induction after a couple of months in their job. The programme will enable people to understand ‘how we do things at Amey’, describe the ‘bigger picture’ on Health and Safety, explain Amey’s expectations in dealing with customers, and improve their knowledge of the diversity agenda and the benefits it brings us.
The Friend to Amey scheme allows employees to nominate someone who they think could work for Amey and live our values. As long as they are not part of the selection process and recommend a candidate who is successful, they can be rewarded with up to £1,000.
