Amey. Transforming the nature of services to the public.
Our focus as an organisation is not just our customers, but more importantly, the public that use our services. We want to improve public services so that people can actually see and feel the difference everyday. We ultimately want to improve the society we all live in. We therefore focus on the outcomes of the services we provide rather than the inputs, for example not only street lighting maintenance but public safety and crime reduction.
Over the last few years, Amey has changed as an organisation. Recently we have concentrated on the growth and integration of our in-house design consultancy, in order to offer an end-to-end service to our clients. As such we have become one of the leading Public Service Providers in the UK.
This means that Amey can not only deliver frontline services, but we can also design the way they are delivered. This cuts out unnecessary layers of inefficiency and work, therefore reducing the cost and risk, and provides a single point of accountability for our clients. More importantly, this increases our influence over the outcomes of the services for the public – such as crime reduction, sustainability and safety.
