
Nick Gregg is the Managing Director of Amey’s Local Government division which works with local authorities across the UK, providing a range of stand-alone and integrated services.
Nick joined Amey in February 2011 to help drive further growth across the local government market. He is responsible for the delivery of key strategic projects, including the £2.7 billion, 25-year Birmingham Highways Maintenance and Management Service – the biggest local government highways PFI in Europe.
Nick has many years of experience in working with public and private sector clients at Biffa Waste Services Ltd, where he was the Managing Director of the Collections Division responsible for all logistics and waste transfer activities across Local Government and Commercial & Industrial Markets. Prior to that, he was the Managing Director of ATS Euromaster Ltd (Michelin), one of the UKs largest tyre service and distribution companies supplying vehicle fleet solutions across the UK.
Nick’s early career (16 years) was spent at Mobil Oil Company where he joined as a graduate and progressed via the Fast Track management process through sales, marketing and operations as well as key project roles in finance and IT, concluding his career as Managing Director of the UK business.
Nick joined Amey to help drive the divisional strategy to deliver innovative and cost effective solutions for our clients and members of the public, while also supporting the wider Amey business.
