Mel Ewell is the Chief Executive and an Executive Director on the Amey Plc Board. He took on the role in 2003 and successfully guided the company through its sale to Ferrovial. He has been key in creating the organisation that Amey is today.
Andrew Nelson is Group Finance Director and an Executive Director on the Amey Plc Board. Since joining Amey in 1999 as Finance Director for Amey Ventures Limited, he has played a key role in restructuring the Group’s finances and negotiating sales and acquisitions, including that of Owen Williams' consultancy in 2006.
Chris Fenton is Marketing and Strategy Director. He joined the business in June 2006 after working in both B2B services and manufacturing. He has a track record of driving sales and regenerating under-managed and under-invested businesses into successful, profit-making companies.
Valerie Hughes D’Aeth, Group HR Director, joined Amey in March 2009. Valerie has responsibility for the Group HR strategy. Valerie has a B.Com degree from Birmingham University. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and is a Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development.
Wayne Robertson is Head of Legal for the Amey Group and Company Secretary to Amey UK plc and Amey plc. He joined Amey in 2006 as Senior Counsel, Business Services. Wayne is responsible for managing the legal, group secretariat and contract services functions and is a member of the Amey Management Committee.
Steve Withers s Managing Director of Amey’s Inter-Urban business which is delivering programmes of renewals, enhancement and maintenance of the UK’s strategic road and rail network.
Gillian Duggan became Managing Director of Amey’s Built Environment division in 2008. The division supplies total facilities management solutions to both public and private sector clients. Since her appointment, Gillian has increased growth across Built Environment, and established a successful foothold within the aviation market. Gillian joined Amey in 2004 as Group Human Resources Director.
Andy Milner is Managing Director for Amey’s Consulting business which has a 2000 strong professional staff providing Consultancy Services across the UK. He joined the company in 2006 following the acquisition of Owen Williams where he had worked for 10 years.
Phil Dove is Operational Efficiency Director. Phil joined Amey in March 2009 as a Business Director within Built Environment where he was responsible for the integration and transformation of a number of high value contracts including the turnaround of the Home Office account.
